Our Journey

The journey of scaling open-air Atmospheric Pressure-Spatial Atomic Layer Deposition (AP-SALD) began at Dr. Musselman's Functional Nanomaterials Lab at the University of Waterloo during co-founders Chee's and Jhi's graduate studies pursuit in 2018.

Founded in 2021 by Chee, Jhi, and Dr. Musselman, Nfinite Nanotech emerged from a vision to enable the global adoption of nanotechnology for a sustainable future. With over 130 customer interviews, they honed in on sustainable packaging as their niche with the problems that the world is facing with plastic pollution.
